Where Can I Charge My Electric Car In Thailand?

Before you buy an electric car, you should look at the charging infrastructure near your place of residence, especially if you are not comfortable with installing a charger in your home.

A growing number of public and private charging stations can now be accessed, in tandem with the increased uptake of electric cars. But just where are these chargers?

1. PTT EV Station PluZ

This charge provider has AC 7.4kW and DC 50kW stations.

2. MEA EV

These stations are brought to you by the Metropolitan Electricity Authority. There are 11 service points within the Metropolitan Electricity Authority office and 2 outside the office.

3. PEA VOLTA

The Provincial Electricity Authority also has their own charging stations, all located within the Provincial Electricity Authority offices and at Bangchak gas stations covering all regions

4. EGAT EV

These stations are operated by the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand. Currently, there are 42 electric vehicle charging services across the country.

5. EA Anywhere

It is a service provider of up to 476 electric vehicle charging points, most of which are mainly located in Bangkok.

6. MG SUPER CHARGE

You’ll find both Type 2 AC 43kW and CCS DC 50kW chargers as part of MG’s Super Charge network.

7. EVOLT

Evolt is perhaps the most comprehensive electric vehicle charging system provider in Thailand.

8. BMW Charging Station

Most of these stations are located in shopping malls, hotels, public places, and there are plans to expand the network in the future.
