The charging rate for charging stations

The charging rate for charging stations differs from different area, different countries and different years.

If the government support charging station facility, there will be good price for per kwh. But if there is cost adjust for electricity,  the charging rate for charging stations may be adjusted. For example, in 2023 HK charging rate notice as below.

Starting from January 1, 2023, the charging rate for charging stations have been adjusted: the charging rate for fast charging stations have adjusted from $3/kWh to $3.4/kWh*, and the charging rate for medium-speed charging stations have adjusted from $2.4/kWh to $2.7/kWh*. Price adjustment is made due to the incremental in electricity costs. More and more EV charging promotions will be launched very soon and we are committed to providing you a happy EV charging experience.

*Except designated charging points, all charging rates will base on the Cornerstone EV Charging App shown as final.
