NASN V2V emergency charging is a new convenient method for sharing energy among Electric Vehicles (EVs). Electric vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) charger is a portable EV charger, which approaches with off-board power sharing interface add extra space and cost for EV users. V2V power transfer by directly connecting the two EV batteries for sharing energy through the DC charger input ports and switches. The active rectifiers of the on-board type-2 chargers are not used for rectification during V2V, instead only a few switches of active rectifiers are simply used as an interface to connect the two EV batteries, to avoid the redundant power conversion and associated losses which effectively improves the overall V2V efficiency. The possible V2V discharging protocol is CHAdeMO and GB/T. CHAdeMO and GB/T opens up vehicle-to-everything technology at the beginning. Otherwise CCS should open up vehicle-to-everything technology to all EVs. Then it's impossible to use CCS2 EV to discharge and add scenarios of the proposed V2V solution.
