DC charging station

Commonly known as "fast charging", it is fixedly installed outside the electric vehicle and connected to the AC power grid. It uses a three-phase four wire 380V frequency stable frequency of 50HZ, and can also provide DC power supply for non vehicle mounted electric vehicle power batteries.

AC charging station

This is known as "slow charging", but the AC charging station does not have a charging function and must be connected to the on-board charger to charge the electric vehicle, only serving as a control power source.

Difference between DC charging piles and AC charging piles

Charging time---The most essential difference between slow and fast charging is the charging time. Generally speaking, it takes about 1.5 to 3 hours to fully charge the power battery using a DC charging station; Charging with an AC charging station usually takes 8-10 hours to fully charge

Car on-board charger--If the AC charging station charges the power battery, it needs to use the car's car charger to charge, while the DC charging station can charge directly, which is also the biggest difference from DC charging.
