Charger Functionality 

(a) The charging stations is capable of optimizing  the output current to facilitate the dual port charging mode. The  charging facility is capable of supplying the full  load current and battery charging current during single port  charging. 

(b) The charging stations continuously monitor the  conditions of each block of battery strings. A failure of a block  of cells shall be detected and a battery failure alarm shall be  displayed in the LCD Display Panel.

(c) The charging stations provide a battery  equalization scheduler function for equalizing the batteries. The schedule shall be stored in the Battery  Monitoring Module and downloaded from the charging facility. 

(d) When the temperature of the batteries rise over a predetermined temperature threshold, the charging facility will automatically switch off accompanied with an over-temperature alarm. The temperature threshold is  configurable. 

(e) The charging stations provide automatic on/off  output to protect the accidental disconnection of the  connection cable. The charging stations is built  with other electrical safety features to minimize electrical  hazard during charger operation, e.g. the electric vehicle will be  immobilized during charging or the charger will switch off the  output immediately when the electric vehicle is in motion.
